3 Tips to Increase Your Productivity

Many people feel the proverbial “crash” around mid-day and, because of that, feel it is very difficult or impossible to be productive. When busy, people often forget the keys to productivity. Even if you are overloaded or busy, you can still follow 3 simple rules to keeping yourself on track.

  1. First, don’t overdo the caffeine. Although caffeine is known to be a stimulant, many people don’t realize that too much caffeine will overhaul your body and have the opposite effect. It can be harmful in many ways when consumed in excess. Have a coffee in the morning, and maybe one more sometime in the late morning. Any more could have the opposite effect on your concentration.
  2. Drink the required amount of water every day. If you are feeling particularly run down, consider whether you are getting enough water every day. Water to your body is like oil to a vehicle. Without it, you will not run smoothly. When you consume the required amount of water every day you will feel better, have more energy and have the ability to concentrate for longer periods of time.
  3. The final tip to keep yourself healthy and productive is to have a detox regimen that you can enact a few times a year. Everything from the food you eat to the air you breath has the potential to build up in your system causing you to be tired, run down and overloaded with toxins. Detox will help your body flush the nastiness out and start anew. Regular detox has also been known to prevent certain diseases and cancers in the long run.

Along with these basic rules of health to stay productive, you should also attempt to consolidate your tasks so that you won’t feel overwhelmed. The best way to do this is to create a list at the end of every day for what you plan to do the next day. Stay on task according to the list and you will notice you get more done and stay on task more successfully every day.
